Didriksons chooses Active Ants for Multi-Warehousing and scalability

Partnership between Active Ants and the iconic Swedish apparel company Didriksons intensifies

In 2022, the Swedish company Didriksons, perhaps most famous for their stylish high-quality rain jackets and winter parkas, decided they needed a new logistics provider for their European B2C business. At the time, their main goal was to find a fulfillment partner able to support the brand’s rapid growth and international ambitions. Moreover, operational flexibility, fast execution, and an understanding of Didriksons’ needs and existing capabilities was a key concern.

After surveying the various contenders in the market, their decision fell on Active Ants.

Short lead times and peak demands

Tishko Amen, Head of Warehouse Operations at Didriksons:

“We chose Active Ants as they already worked with the biggest platforms in Europe and had a multiple-site solution across all European markets to handle key challenges like short lead times and peak demands. We quickly realized that we as a brand can really make use of their experience and rely on their automated processes.”

Fast, climate-friendly, and problem-free deliveries

As a result of the cooperation, customers across the EU are now able to order Didriksons’ classic looks directly from the firm’s website and enjoy fast, climate-friendly, and problem-free deliveries thanks to Active Ants’ unique automatized and robotized fulfillment solutions. Moreover, customers now also have the chance to purchase Didriksons’ products on the marketplaces Zalando and About You. To bring this about, Active Ants have demonstrated that it can fulfill the rigorous standards the marketplaces adhere to, and has assisted Didriksons throughout the various test-phases and adjusted existing IT-interfaces accordingly.

Expansion to the United Kingdom

In the course of 2023, the partnership will be expanded to the United Kingdom, from where Active Ants will begin servicing Didriksons’ British customers from its new facility in Northampton.
